Hometown care is here
Wayne General Hospital prides itself in providing quality, hometown health care for all its patients.
In 1951, Wayne General Hospital opened its doors as a 30-bed institution to care for the citizens of Wayne County and surrounding areas. Through the years, demands for hospital services increased leading to an increase in bed space and expanded ancillary services in 1962.
Completed in 1977, a new hospital facility was constructed on its present site. As time has passed, our campus has grown to include numerous support buildings for dialysis care, exercise and personal wellness services, a wide range of clinics and an outdoor walking track.
The mission of Wayne General Hospital is to offer health care that is unmatched in terms of quality, convenience and compassion with a courteous, family-oriented approach to every person seeking care. Growing out of an ongoing desire to ensure top-quality medical access, Wayne General Hospital and its affiliated health clinics and acute care facilities have been recognized for innovative, personalized services using state-of-the-art medical technology.
When you are treated by our medical staff, you are going to get more than just treatment … you will receive premier, professional medical services devoted to your overall well-being.
